How much did we end up paying Cecil for his sons services?

I know Cecil was looking for donations of over $180k for church upgrades, but how much did we end up paying?

I don't think the athletic department paid Cam or Cecil anything. Now, there is the chance a third party source gave him money for coming to Auburn and the AD knew about it in some way...which I have no problem with.

The AD 100% did not pay them a dime. And to be honest if someone in the AD knew, I don't think it made it up to McGlynn.
In all honesty I doubt Cam got anything that significant, but I can't put it past some rogue fan/booster to have contributed in some manner.

I agree...when I abbreviated AD, it was the athletic department, not Jay Jacobs.

I read where there are recordings of Cecil asking for $180k to some 3rd party broker. I'm sure the coaching staff covered their tracks as we always have, but it would be cool to know if anyone has any inside scoop on that story.

Final opinion same as the first - Sheridan is a buffoon. He knows how to establish odds on games. That does not make him this "insider" with the type of connections necessary to know what he's talking about in this instance.

Highly unlikely since it is equally unlikely Sheridan was ever talking to anyone who really knew what they were talking about. It's more likely someone was telling Danny what he wanted to hear.

Sheridan said he knows who the bagman was but could not give a name or he would be sued. I haven't thought of it from your perspective. You think Danny was the bagman? I don't see him spending his own money though.

I disagree. judging from their reactions over him switching to AU it seems likely MSU paid him the cash and a little of mrs mullens poon. those jackasses went sideways when they realized he took their money and ran. I say it was brilliant strategy.

State may have paid, but it wasnt for any services, unless they are including them as stud fees for Cam's grindage of Megan

once again I must disagree. just because they didnt receive his services doesnt mean that isnt what they paid for, just that they got ripped off. just a risk you take dealing on the black market
