I'm a bit torn.

The objective side of me says: We already know the history. We already know that the world was and is a fricked up place. Do we really need to acknowledge Native Americans, who were just as (if not more) fricked up?

I say we stop petty, stupid holidays altogether.

Tired of this appreciation bullshite -- it only causes controversy when you direct it at ethnicity/race/nationality.

Some of the anti-Columbus Day comments are priceless.

fricking Seattle.

Why the frick do people really feel bad for Native Americans? Yes, their land was taken but if it had not been, we wouldn't have all these spoiled a-hole Americans to have menial shite to do like change holidays.

I have no idea how Native Americans were hundreds of years ago, but if the current ones are any indication, then they fricking sucked. If all these pussies want to some worthwhile, give back your land to the "rightful owners" of it.

Are there really indigenous peoples of anywhere other than where life began?
