Refresh me on the tiebreaker scenario

Let's say that hypothetically we end up with 3 teams in the west with one loss
Auburn loses to OM
MSU loses to AU
OM loses to MSU
Previously the second tiebreaker was BCS ranking to determine who went to Atlanta, obviously there isn't a BCS poll anymore, so how is this determined?

Goal differential.

It's SEC W/L record of the teams you played from the East.
If Auburn ends up in any tiebreaker like this, they are going to win it. Because they play Georgia. And a South Carolina team that should be able 4-4 in conference.

It goes to whoever' east opponents had the best combined conference record, so we would be screwed.
Btw, missed you buddy. You had so many sweet opinions last week.

No shite, guess that's fair enough...but you can't really control who's on your schedule (excluding alabama)

gonna come down to who beat the best team in the east?
Posted on 10/6/14 at 4:06 pm to Riseupfromtherubble
In 03, UF/UG/UT all tied in the East. We were the lowest ranked in the BCS, so that dropped us. UG beat UT hth, so they went to Atlanta.

Mike Slive will step in and declare bammer the West champion

Huh. Didn't know this. Seems strange at first thought, but I guess it's fair enough.

Three-Team Tie (or more)
If three teams (or more) are tied for a division title, the following procedure will be used in the following order: (Note: If one of the procedures results in one team being eliminated and two remaining, the two-team tiebreaker procedure as stated in No. 1 above will be used):
A. Combined head-to-head record among the tied teams
B. Record of the tied teams within the division
C. Head-to-head competition against the team within the division with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through the division (multiple ties within the division will be broken from first to last and a tie for first place will be broken before a tie for fourth place)
D. Overall Conference record against non-divisional teams
E. Combined record against all common non-divisional teams
F. Record against the common non-divisional team with the best overall Conference record (divisional and non-divisional) and proceeding through other common non-divisional teams based on their order of finish within their division; and
G. Changed: Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents

I know it's been beat to death but I really don't know why in the frick they didn't just keep the BCS poll and use the top 4 for the playoff, then we could have still used it as the tie breaker as well.
I just know we're gonna get in a 3 way tie and be fricked because we had Vandy on the schedule because that would only be fitting for Ole Miss

there really does need to be non-human element to the playoff selection, imo... otherwise, it's 100% beauty contest... and that to me is scary.
i'm not saying strictly go with computers, or return to the BCS formula, but i would've like to see a combining of the new selection committee with computer generated rankings, factoring in real SOS, not 'eye test' bs.

it's also crazy to me the the winner of the SECW could theoritcally come down to a november pillow fight between UT and UK... i'd rather the ADs draw straws or flip coins than have my hopes riding on Butch freaking Jones or stoops.

That shite might as well be Aramaic. And how would a 2 team divisional tiebreaker progress beyond the head to head? They had like 6 more steps that are completely unnecessary.

my money would be on kentucky

my money would be on UT throwing the game to keep bama out of atlanta...
