It's horseshite revisionist history. Crooms made our administration out to be the bad guy but the administration gave him all the time he needed to prove himself. Crooms was a good guy but horrible coach. He was stubborn and pig-headed and refused to change his view of retaining all his friends as assistants. And the show seemed to focus way more on his Alabama/Bear connections than really needed to be drawn.
