Sounds from what I have read on MessageBoardGossip.com that this is a multipart thing. If so, sky boxes have been in demand for a long time so they should go in. If we keep doing well and there is the demand for attendance then we start on the South Endzone upperdeck.

Keep some flexibility/potentially add more box seats instead of upperdeck.
Too logical.. you can go ahead and dismiss this one

Update: 2016 date for phase one: Boxes in the North Endzone.

Lowder was brought back specifically for its fundraising

Expect an official announcement around spring practice; they want some funding in place before they take it for approval

Old scoreboard is coming down after this season. "Entering the jumbotron arms race."

Any idea if they're gonna add some additional scholarship seating in addition to the new luxury boxes?

I'm okay with that. Boxes in that end zone will look good. I'd be fine ending it there and then focusing on improving everything else

I hope they brick the outside.

Then it would look like FSU's stadium. Meh.

I like the towering cathedral look. Beats the time I went to Georgia with my wife and realized from the road I could see down into the stadium. Prefer the above ground concrete giant.

I agree we should keep the concrete, brutalist appearance of the stadium with the curved 'hands' rising up to hold the upper decks. Every SEC has bricked up their stadium...UT, Bama, etc.

There are the two end zones that have exposed steel framing holding up the grand stands...not quite sure what position I have on that yet. If we just enclose them in brick it's a little cheap architecturally speaking...you'd still see the steel while on the concourse and little from the outside. In the end, all you're doing is building a wall with some masonry openings really.

I fear we are just going to end up taking the common path, and in the end, JHS isn't going to be distinguishable from Clemson, Bama, Texas A&M, etc. It's going to be brick with some off-white fake trim masonry in places. Let's be honest...what makes Auburn Arena distinguishable? Cameron Indoor has nice wood paneling around the upper deck and baskets suspended from the ceiling. JHS needs something signature or keep what is has already that's signature (that being the concrete or steel grid).

I certainly don't like 'solution' to just add some banners between the columns (like the S end zone)...again, a cheap, common 'fix'.

FWIW a new complex with a bigger, better weight room and ammenities looks to be the first project per P Marsh.

I hope they keep the old scoreboard and do something with it. Dont know what

Unique thing? Add an eagles nest where the eagle flies out from every home game rather than moving on the ramps

If this was the only change, that would be ok.

I dont like the idea of moving the locker rooms. Its bad arse when the team enters under the student section. If they come from the other side it will suck. Plus Tiger Walk will have to be moved
