When was the last time the polls disagreed on #1 like this?

Usually when you have a split between the polls, one team is #1 in one poll and #2 in the other. This time, however, Alabama is #1 in the Coaches and #3 in the AP. I haven't seen a discrepancy like that in a while.

It wouldn't surprise me if coaches respect Nick Saban and think that Jimbo is a weasel. And the media is just sick of Bama.

Exactly, the polls don't matter anymore anyway, just win games and move on. We have had 5 weeks of football and many teams have not played a good team as of yet...and several will not all season.

very few teams have gotten into real competition yet, so its hard to know whose legit and who isnt yet. In the SECW its the ultimate crap shoot because you have several teams that could be like Auburn last year.
