Dont giv him the clicks.

Coach Snyder already said we were not stealing their signs.

tldr: everyone steals signals, everyone he talks to says it's part of the game, but let's still make it about Auburn always stealing signals

If Thamel keeps writing hit pieces that are two weeks old he'll eventually be out of a job

Auburn co-offensive coordinator Dameyune Craig, a former FSU assistant, stood next to Tigers defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson during first half of the title game.

Johnson is normally in the box. Was he on the sideline for the championship game? Or is this more made up bs?

ETA: Or was he in the box with EJ?

Honestly, the article isn't too bad. It really is the word "stealing" that gets people going. If it was "Auburn decodes signals" or something, nobody blames Auburn. Unfortunately, the common phrase is to 'steal signals,' despite the legality.

Auburn is the most high profile school that has been talked about with this stuff lately and it has been twice now with Gus. Don't see how it is so bad that he brings it up.

Summary of points actually made

-Points out AU has been twice in 12 months been thought of as decoding signals

-Currently there is nothing 'illegal'

-Some staffer said more worried about Bama than AU

-Talks about how prevalent it is at many institutions

-Brings up NFL has wireless helmet audio for QBs and should be investigaed for CFB

Yes, please remove the link. Thamel and Thayer Evens should never be linked on an Auburn board

These kids are in college. The calls shouldn't be too simplified that a caveman could figure them out.

Their class registration is telling me this is correct.

Their class attendance and actual grades are telling me this is incorrect.

It's really not a hit piece. He really just talks about how common it is and uses us since we've been brought up twice in the media about it, but we aren't the main portion of the piece.

He says Gerry DiNardo admitted to having a grad assistant on staff when he was coaching, whose job was to steal signals.

I'm not sure if he's anti-signal "stealing" but it just seemed like it was more of a discussion on it than a hit piece on us.

If you took the word "stealing" out and replaced it with something else this is not a big deal to most people.

If people thought it was just us finding out their plays by looking, they wouldn't care. Just seems like we are listening to their headseats and stuff

If he took the word "Auburn" out of it, nobody would read it.

He knows he can get clicks by painting with a broad brush.
