Some of you SEC bros misused that ever important time before your freshman year boozing, banging chicks, and other juvenile shite.
Our bros out west spent their summer spirit fingering the frick out of each other.
Wanna go to rush parties? frick that. We've got to get as many goobs in one place as we possibly can and teach them how to yell shite in unison.
You want to bring bitches back to your dorm room? Amateur hour bullshite. Take her to the aquarium to get wet.
I do understand why Fish Camp is necessary though. It'd take me a week to transition from doing normal, rad shite to playing dress up and saying things loudly for the rest of my life. They have to force you socially awkward lame-os to interact with each other or else College Station would be covered in an even thicker film of semen and despair.

When A&M ranks higher in Scoring Defense, Passing Defense and Total Defense, you really shouldn't be bringing up "real" defenses.
