Great game, we had our chances and didn't convert. You had your chances and did. I never really liked the term "the better team won that day", because you're only as good the score and record indicates. So it's kind of fricking reduntant to say the Ags were the better team.

Hope everyone had a good time at Jerryworld. Didn't get to make it this year but dependent on timing around quarter end I'll likely be out there next year. I'll probably be in the minority here but I really like the game in Jerryworld.

Now if you'll excuse me, I still have some of my bleach mojito left from yesterday. Got the recipe from my Ag friends in 2011

We're not even yet. You need to choke a 3 score halftime lead first.

I say they are even. That 2011 game helped move Sherman out.

It's amazing how close everything is to having entirely different outcomes, not even just within the confines of the field. Even for how shitty 2011 was for yall, if Not-Colt didn't herp derp down for Justin Tucker to hit that field goal... do yall end up with Sumlin?

y'all are a lot better than you were last year. Your athletes in the secondary really surprised and impressed because I didn't expect it. You will shock at least one really good team this year. This division is absurd

Yea probably. I'd say Sherman was on his way our regardless of how the 2011 game with Texas ended. The Arkansas game probably had more effect on Sherman than Texas

While I agree the odds were he was out regardless, the Texas game turned Sherman getting fired from a conversation to a formality.

Regarding the game itself. I miss winning.

I mean it was for sure the final strike, but not only did he have all of the other losses, but he was very much against the move to the SEC. he was on his way out

Choking away a 14pt 4th quarter lead is probably worse than choking away an 18pt halftime lead.

It probably feels just as bad. A&M needed this win in a major way.

2011: In crunch time Sherman was "deer in headlights" and the team wilted under the pressure

2014: in crunch time Sumlin is calm and confident and the team responded accordingly with terrific execution

Kansas State led 27-12 after 3 in 1998.

Duke led 38-17 at halftime in 2013
