MSU Parking?

Who has been? And what do you recommend? I'd ask on the rant but my guess is I'll get 90% BS answers. It looks like they have several park-and-ride locations close by, but the parking lots are fairly small. I can get there early, but I'm not sure how early is early enough.

I have been multiple times, but not since '97, so I doubt I could be of any assistance.

It's just not that busy. They aren't that big or draw the huge crowds. We rolled up a couple hours before the game in 2012 and parked on campus pay parking with no issues. Walked to the stadium and tailgating areas from there.
