Has a fanbase ever had to endure what Florida Gators fans are?

I can't think of a time when a program was struggling in mediocrity while TWO former coaches, both having won national championships at that program, are now active at other schools.
That is really tough. I guess it would be even tougher if one or both of them won it again where they are now...but it has to be shitty to look across and see a guy who took your program to the very top, coaching somewhere else, while your team has an uncertain future.

I can't claim to know what it's like to have gone through all those years of sucking at USCe, and I do respect it.
I CAN tell you how it feels to be a fan of a program that expects to be an elite contender every year, with a proud and storied history, and suck arse. That isn't easy. But even what we endured with Dubose didn't include having to see our previous title winning coaches at another program while we suffered.
Just saying that has to suck.

Haha, nice angle. To be serious I grew up a gator fan and swam at bama. Spurrier to dubose and what happened after was rough to watch. If it weren't for 99 and 05 I may have given up on college football.

UK under Tubby while both Pitino and Sutton were coaching elsewhere. While Sutton didn't win a title, he would have if it weren't for some mail mix ups.
