Because i'm still not convinced. The real schedule starts now.

bye week (vs. UL Monroe)

#5 Auburn
All ranked teams except Arkansas and UL Monroe (pretty much a bye week), would be a schedule of hell if it wasn't for that. However, given recent play, even Arkansas isn't a pushover, and may actually be better than everyone expects. They might even be ranked at the end of the season.

When we beat Arkansas, who cares its just Arkansas.
When we beat MSU, LSU was overrated and they really hadnt beaten anyone.

We did beat Miss St., Ole Miss, and Arkansas last year. We have beaten all three of them for the past two years.

All of us are about to enter into a gauntlet. Conference play begins for real.

Yes, we are about to learn whether the improvement of the Ags' defense from "among worst in the NCAA" to "middle of the pack in the NCAA" will be adequate to give our stellar offense a bit of breathing room.
I think that the answer is "yes," but I'll not be talking any smack just yet.
