Are there any plans for arky and KSU to start a long term series?

I know how this will be taken, but this is meant as a serious question. There seems to be a lot of hate between Arkansas and Kansas (the states), and in particular the fans. The schools aren't exactly far from each other, and historically are pretty similar in strength (KSU with several CCs in the past few decades, arky with some good success farther back).

It just seems a natural fit for arky as their OOC rival game now that A&M is in the SEC.

We hate each other? I mean we may poke fun at them and they make poke fun at us, but I think most of us don't really care. Sorry.

Our OOC rival is Texas. Whether we play them or not. We joined the conference that had all of our OOC rivals when we joined the SEC. Now the Aggies are in the SEC so that takes away one of our plausible OOC rivals. Maybe... I dunno... Nebraska. There is some bad blood there.

Well we already have games with Texas Tech, TCU, Texas and Michigan scheduled for the future.

Their message board fans were awful when we played them in the cotton bowl

kSU was quite literally the worst program in the country until Bill Snyder took over and started having success in the mid-90s. The Wildcats are still well over 100 games under .500 all-time.

That's kind of what I meant. I know there's the whole pronunciation thing that gets y'all riled up as well (ar-Kansas), so I just figured there was some bad blood?

Hope Texas sticks to their game, otherwise, I definately think KSU would be a good historically comparable program to start a series with.

Where are you getting your info from?

Besides Les Miles mis pronunciation back in 07, it does not cross most of our minds.

It's not their fault a coach is stupid and can't correctly pronounce the name of a state.

FWIW...We don't give a damn about playing any team from Kansas and don't give a damn about anyone who doesn't have enough education to be able to correctly pronounce Arkansas.

Not sure what you mean? Like I said, the last 25 years, KSU is a pretty good program with several CCs.
