4-star DL Fletcher Adams commits to MSU

Said it came down to MSU or Florida. Also had other notable offers from Bama, UGA, and Ole Miss. Brother at MSU helped tremendously.
Was an interesting recruitment. While all common sense said MSU, OM fans & writers have been calling him a lock. OM Rivals writer Neal McCready went as far as saying his commitment story was already written.

Congrats MSU... He did tell some OM beat writers he was gonna verbal to OM but that was never gonna happen with his brother playing DL at State... Great get Dawgs.

We've been MVU for three decades running. I'm just glad star gazing is accepted now. You guys had me believing in diamonds for so long.

Wouldn't even call Gabe a diamond. People knew he was a very good athlete and State legacy coming out.

Hevesy is a shitty recruiter but damn he makes it work every year up front. Only real poor year was 2012 and that was due to the shitty pass happy scheme

I don't know how good LSU will end up being. (I think they rebound) but man our o-line was opening up some massive holes.

MSU's OL played well but it's more about the threat of a QB run. Making the DL think neutralizes the up-the-field mentality. All running a threat QBs make their OL exponentially better

Here to eat some crow. I called Fletcher to Ole Miss, but this past weekend changed things. Good job by the MSU staff. He's a stud. He was telling OM all the right things and even told one of his teammates that he was not going to State. Really wish we could've stole him from y'all.

Congrats on the pickup. I, personally, had no interest in his scheduled commitment date, because I think it comes down to the Egg Bowl. I'd have said the same had he committed to us.

We are possibly looking at at top 10 class if we can finish strong with Leo Lewis and a couple others.
