They entered the field with a little bit. I liked how they said frick it, let our team enter the field, then did their little LSU sway-fig thing in the end zone, while three of their guys carried NIU, Illinois an American flags. At first it pissed me off, but then I thought...hey, I think that's swag.
They had some pretty big muscular boys on the D-line. Skipper got worked a few times.

Like I said earlier they would be a much better test than TT was. They had some bright spots but just got outclassed talent wise.

NIU had confidence and weren't intimidated and there is something to be said for that even if we stomped them.

Exactly. Everything abou them felt different from the typical directional school to me. Their whole approach and attitude was that they weren't skeerd.

Their run defense was better if that's what you mean,
but their offense wasn't in the same league with TT amd their pass defense was non-existent.
Overall not as good a team as TT.

NIU played the 4th quarter like it meant. they never gave up. probably why they win so much.
