Dating back over the course of lets say, 12 years, if UGA had another coaching staff at the helm, would we have a (recent) championship? Specifically the 2002, 2007, and 2012 seasons. Do you think we would drop key games that would have at least got us the opportunity to play for it?

Malzahn at UGA would be sick. You have too good of resources to not have a trophy. I ll back off a little & say I have really been shocked at how much mud is being thrown at the school admin for being more concerned with academia than athletics.

'02, '07, and '12, no. But over that time period, without a doubt, UGA would have a NC with AU's staff.

UGA would have at least 3 NC's with Saban.

Unless y'all's snake bite luck got in the way...

Honestly, what's the point of threads like this? For people to point and laugh at us some more? Plus you know that everyone that answers (every real team at least, so not like the vandys and kentuckys) is going to say yes, they would have. I really don't get threads like this.

So is your stupid little thread. What type of answer are you looking for? You lost one game by three points on the road. Get over it.

Maybe. We don't spend the kind of money that he demands to be at the level of Bama though.

Why? Because deep down inside you know its probably true? Are Georgia fans never allowed to ask questions? This is the SecRANT correct?

Georgia wins the NC in 2003 because that means we don't have Saban.

I actually like the question ... but it's a Gordian Knot. It's a really deep hypothetical because it begs the question, "is it the coach or the karma?"

If it's the karma then no coach will fix it .... but where and when did the karma kickback begin? And who brought it on ... the fans?

If it's the coach then the question stands and it becomes more about demands from the fans.

What a conundrum. Either way we're assuming and accepting the possibility that there have been seasons where UGA's talent was good enough to win it all which, if that's been true, it now goes back to either bad breaks - which is a karma thing - or bad coaching .... and we're right back where we started and the OP's premise is validated.

Then ... what if it's actually a little of both, or all three? Coaching, karma and fans ...

This is the worst post.ever. Kick our own fans in the nuts in public while giving the secrant so much glee at our expense. Have you no shame? It's hard enough to be a uga fan without this shite.
