Said it could possibly be due to Eddie being banged up still. I wouldn't mind him seeing the field if either Cyrus or Jackson is getting burned in the first half.

Man our secondary has some holes this weekend. Jarrick possibly out, Perry out for a half, Jackson still hurting. We need to find some consistency and some playmakers here.

This is one of those good news, bad news things. Good news is we get to see a five star corner with a ton of potential on the field. Bad news is that might mean our best corner, Eddie Jackson, is out for the game.

Brown is going to take his lumps just like every other young cornerback. I just hope his lumps don't cost us the game.

Fractured bone in his foot. Was hoping to be back by the Florida game but I don't think he's playing this weekend.

I'm hoping he's the starter full time.

Whose place will he take? He was playing in Eddie's spot yesterday

That's a good question. Would love to see him partner up with EJ.

Wait a sec, what's the reason he's starting/playing more? I'm ALL for it, but is it bc guys are banged up or bc he's earned his opportunity? I didn't know Eddie was still tender enough to sit out....?

That's got me worried as well. I hope that EJ's injury is indeed just a thigh bruise and not any kind of reaggravation.

Id rather have the more athletic guys in anyway. Perry and Williams get killed in the passing game.

I think there are times for this too. I know my feelings on this are irrelevant to Alabama, but I'd like to see the coaches, in stretches, to tell Brown "see that guy right there? You make it your life's mission to see that he doesn't catch a fricking pass, and nothing else." I'm no football coach but I just think there are times where simplifying a task for a kid with his ability can produce huge benefits.

I know Alabama's system is tough though, so I might be way off base here.

I wonder how Bradley Sylve feels about this. Pretty evident after that WVu game that people dont realize if we had depriest, Jackson/Brown that game isnt a 10 point ball game. We would have went all 3 games without a TD given up

You don't know that. For all we know we could've given up more than one TD with them in the game.

Eddie Jackson is one of the most underrated people in the conference. I love how aggressive he is for plays. Him being hurt it huge.

I would rather EJ and Brown be the two starters than the crap we start most of the time.

Crazy thing is Bradley Sylve got benched because he couldn't track the ball but nobody has don't that all year lol. I must admit they are always in position and teams are making pretty good throws.

Totally agree. I think that's why other CBs thrive at LSU. Les just lets them go man and lets the athletic ability take over.
