WVU becomes the second best offense in terms of total yards per game in the country.
And Alabama gave em one TD and 23 points.

This weekend will prove whether or not WVU is legit.
If they give OU a game, or happen to even win, the Alabama win looks much better.
If OU destroys them it makes it look worse.

Remove Gus Malzahn from Auburn 1 year ago and they are 0-16 over 2 years in the SEC.

So half of their best offensive stats came against your team?

Actually no, with Alabama they are 9th overall.
So...no.

I'm picking WVU over OU as my upset of the week. It will happen. Book it.

Blake Sims for Heisman; Lane Kiffin for Coordinator of the Year; Harvey Updyke for Nobel Peace Prize

I was picking them to upset OU before I realized their best corner is suspended indefinitely. Knight is gonna pick them apart.

Take away Nick Saban and Alabama is still on probation

Remove the brain from a college football fan and you get a gump.

See?
Everybody can play that game, no matter the scale

Reverse called.
Bama has given up only one touchdown to an offense all year.
West Virgina had 23 points, 3 FGs, one Special Team TD and one TD to the offense.
None since.

Exactly. People are acting like Alabama's defense is bad because they see a couple of long balls to receivers. In offenses where long balls to receivers are their bread and butter, that's going to happen. But Alabama's defense stiffened towards the goalline and forced WVU to kick three field goals instead of punching in for TDs.
Oh and Alabama still leads the country against the rush.

If you remove Alabama, their offensive stats have come against Towson State and Maryland. Not exactly the strongest competition

You remove the Auburn game and Arkansas is leading the entire country in rushing offense per game by over 60 yards. A jump of over 100 ypg off their current average.
ETA: and the 7th best offense in the entire country. Bert doing work.

If you remove Wisconsin, SF Austin, and ULM, LSU ' defense has given up a grand total of zero yards this year.

This is much better than those check in threads.
In a couple of weeks, we can start transitive property threads in earnest.
