For UF, we're picking up right where we left off last year. Only played 1 game & we've already lost a couple guys for the whole season. Cornerback JC Jackson & TE Jake McGee both got injured on Saturday and their year is over. Our LT also chipped a bone in his ankle and will miss the better part of the next month. Our Safety has an injured hamstring, missed the first game and is uncertain moving forward.

Anyone else banged up early on? I know Tennessee lost a TE & LT as well I believe.

AU has Carl Lawson out and is on schedule to return...no idea what that means.

Sammie Coates was held out of the SJSU game but will be good to go for Kan St.

UT has lost starting LT (Gilliam), TE (Wolf), and WR (Von Pearson).

Gilliam is out for the season.
Wolf will be back for the UGA game I believe.
Pearson likely won't be back until the UF game, possibly the UGA game.

Cameron Clear, our big TE, will likely be out for his 2nd week in a row after an ankle injury at USCe.

JSW is still out. Don't know for sure when he'll be back. Same deal with Mitchell. Hopefully soon.

WR Jonathon Rumph pulled his hamstring, out for a few weeks.

WR Conley has a hurt shoulder but is playing through it.

Basically all our receivers are hurt all the time, apparently. That's really it right now though.

Davin Bellamy is still suspended for Saturday.

From Sumlin's weekly presser yesterday, on injuries.

"We've got a couple of guys [injured], we'll see what happens. This is the first day in pads today. Cam [Clear] is a big guy. I don't know what his status will be this week. Along those lines Caden Smith played very, very well for us last week. [Brandon Alexander] is getting some run now. He played a lot more, and is becoming more consistent. He's been a back-side tight end for us, but we've been developing him. I don't know if Cam will be ready to go or not. We played Mike Matthews a little bit, and it was important for him. We probably shouldn't have played him. He's a guy who came to me and said he wanted to play. He's better this week. Tra Carson, we'll see. I tell you what else is happening around here; guys are getting healthy in a hurry. James White came out of nowhere and was good. There's only one football. We're not where we want to be and have got a ways to go with these young guys. This is the first time in 15 years we've been ranked in back-to-back years in the preseason. This program is coming from a ways away. To be where we are and stay where we are and grow is an ongoing process, and we realize that. We've got a lot of games left, a lot of football to play, and a lot of young guys that have to grow up in a hurry. I'm really pleased with how they're approaching this week. We'll see what happens."

On JSW, yes, but there's some speculation that he's actually still serving a suspension.

On Mitchell, he was back healthy but then had a setback and had to get his knee scoped in preseason. They're being careful with him now given his past knee issues

Well, at least you don't have to worry about him stealing everyone's stuff.

Just by memory,

Tevin Mitchel CB has been week to week with hamstring. Might RS as a senior.

JoJo Robinson is questionable/probable with an ankle I think.

D McKinney and Coley both 2nd string safeties are probable.

Nothing major yet, knock on wood.

White- WR--missed last week and will miss this week with shoulder. Hopeful for a return for Florida game.

Williams-Star--out at least three more weeks with broken foot.

Freitag--TE--out indefinitely with turf toe, but is scout-teamer.

Losing the LT for the Bama game is obviously pretty big. Were the other two expected to contribute much this year?

Center Pocic got injured last week, but shouldnt miss too much action. the actual senior starter, Porter, is returning to the line up this weekend after a two game suspension.
WR Dural is reported to have suffered a head injury in a minor wreck this past saturday. someone slammed into him from behind while he was riding in the passenger seat. just stitches. he should be fine, but won't play this weekend as a precaution.
