Kenny Hill and that A&M Defense look a lot farther along then most would have guessed.

Bama doesn't look remotely untouchable, but will still make some moves with that pathetic schedule

Unless South Carolina pieces it together, I could easily see a good ECU team giving them all they can handle for 4 quarters and possibly pulling out the W. Very unimpressed with how they looked in game 1.

Kentucky looks much, much improved. Granted it was against a baaad UT-Martin team, but there's no denying they took a step forward in all facets.

Dak Prescott and that MSU Defense are going to be a major headache for the Western Teams and their shot at getting to Atlanta.

A tale of two Bo's. Inconsistency isn't ready for the break up from Brother Wallace just yet. When he's on, he's on. When he's off, he looks bad. That defense looked strong though.

Georgia looks like an absolute juggernaut with that rushing attack, but Hutson Mason looked pretty meh at best. Especially when considering Aaron Murrays performances last year.. Fortunately for them they can pound the ball repeatedly with the deepest RB Stable in the country. Those TF looked unreal.

LSU has a lot of questions that need answering going into SEC play with so much youth on the field. Particularly at QB.

Vanderbilt looked like a D3 Canadian squad. I thought they would take a step back, I didn't think they would take a time machine back to the CBJ days. That being said, I loved every minute of it.

Tennessee looked improved at every position outside of the OL. It was great to see Worley come out and deliver the ball the way he's expected to. The pace of the game and the skill at the WR & TE position looked night and day from last year. I was most impressed with the defensive side of the ball. All 3 levels of the Defense took huge strides and that was the most encouraging out of all the aspects to me.

Auburn doesn't look like it'll be slowing down any time soon with Gus at the helm.

& finally..

Beliema is in over his head.

With all that body fat you would think he would float better.

You're giving them too much credit. That looked more like a Rod Dowhower squad than CBJ...

You're a good sport ITTOD

That's rough footing though. Really curious to see what happens this weekend at LP

Not trying to be mean but I've honestly never seen Vandy look that bad. Yes, I've seen bad Vandy teams and losing records but there's losing and then there's losing in a way that everything just looks sloppy and incompetent. Rod Dowhower didn't ring a bell so I looked him up and I don't remember those teams looking as bad as what I saw at Temple but I probably don't remember them the way you do because I'd have only watched our games against you. I hope Mason can find some level of competence because wow it's gonna be a nightmare if he doesn't.

Not mean at all, I somewhat agree with your take. But I think part of it is the raised level of expectation. I don't remember the last time I felt that frustrated watching a football game...
