Is there some story behind Missouri playing at Toledo?

Is it some type of 5 for 1 deal or are there some inordinate amount of Missouri players from Toledo playing back home like some teams do in basketball? Other than Vandy I don't recall any SEC teams playing a football road game at a MAC school.

Pinkel loved playing with rockets as a kid. Scheduled the game after some drunken nostalgia clouded his mind.

Didn't Florida play @ Toledo?

Pinkel coached at Toledo before Mizzou.

So did Saban but I don't think Alabama is planning on going there anytime soon.

Is Toledo in Florida? Then the answer to that is obviously no...

that one makes some sense. SMU has some history as a big time program and I'm sure there are a lot of Aggies in the "Metroplex".

I'm saving this abomination for next week.

this isn't complicated.
this game is clearly Mizzou reaching out to Ohio recruits.

Hell no. We'll barely play Miami on the road, much less shitty arse Toledo

Here's the story.
I have it on good authority that we called them and said, "Hey guys, wanna do a home and home?"
They said, "frick yeah brah. Sounds sweet."
Then we were all, "Done. We'll put you down for two games. Bring some hot dog buns when you come over."
Then they were all, "Ok, and you bring some mustard when you come over."
So we're bringing mustard on Saturday.
Now you know the rest of the story.
