I like knowing what sort of mindset the team is in. These quotes settle me for the rest of the season and the Vandy game.

Bo on his 1st half play:
quote:

"I was feeling as healthy as I have and I was trying to make a statement with my play. I guess I was just forcing the balls in places where I shouldn't have thrown it. Going forward, I know what I have to do. I have to play the way I did in the second half, check the ball down (and) take my completions. Especially with our backs, we were getting 20-25 yards a pop on some check-downs. I just have to check the ball down and let my guys do what they do. …I just have to scale back, play within the offense and just take care of the ball."

Hilton on the Vandy Game:
quote:

"Everybody has a down game," Hilton said. "They might have played down to their opponent's level. We know that we're going to get their best shot."

Good for him, but he says that every time he has a shite game. He just doesn't seem to learn, but I still believe in him.

This x 1,000,000

Bo is just who he is. He has never gone thru his progressions. He always locks in on a WR.

I actually DON'T like what he is saying this year. There was a interview where he said players came up to him and said its ok Bo you'll get it going, and he told them I'm alright I know I'll get it going??? what? Bro you had three picks in one half. Guys just trying to help you get your mind right and relax.

And if I see this fool on that red phone one more time I'm going to lose it.

We might get a good look at Buchanan or Switchblade if Ole Miss has a considerable lead on Vandy

I'm ready for one of these two to start separating himself from the other. These guys are one hit away from playing. The Memphis game we should definitely get a real good look at both.

Bo is killing me with that I think I played good except for three throws...

Well Vandy played good except for 7 plays...

To be fair, they absolutely did not. They played bad for like 80 plays...

Kincade is the number two. There is no co number two. If Ryan was not a MS kid he would be listed as 3rd team. I think both are good but freeze has always favored Kincade. I think we will start to see him play in the next three games.

Hopefully we're killing Vandy by enough where we put Kincade in but that's probably not going to happen. The Louisiana Lafayette game could be alot tougher than people think (not saying we're going to lose though) also don't see him playing much if at all. If our backups aren't playing full time come 4th quarter for the Memphis game then we have serious problems.

Wrong. You obviously didn't watch the spring game. Buchanan looks great.

Yeah Ryan has looked better to me period.

For some reason this fan base has crowned Kincade since he got to Ole Miss. Dilfer said RB would have made the elite 11 too if he did not take the mission trip. That kid has skills too.

Why didn't Switch play a series or 2 in the 4-Q when we had the big lead?

Looking back, we knew Bo had a good second half, but I didn't realize his second half stat line looked like this.

12/14 239 yards 3/0

Bo giveth, Bo taketh away.

Even though we had that lead, we needed Bo to play every part of it while he was doing well so he could get in the groove. You don't want to take him out while he is doing well trying to redeem himself.

I get the feeling in the next 3 games we will see plenty of DK and RB. Tough game to bring them in when it takes 3 quarters to pull away.

What do y'all think about the line for this week? -20 seems pretty enticing to jump on after watching Vandy get smacked by Temple at home. I like y'all chances to cover especially since it's a home for y'all. Anyone else gonna jump on it?
