SECRant Football Power Rankings Guest Vote: Week 1

Thank SLBJ (Sweet Lord Baby Jesus) football season has started. We can finally end all this preseason nonsense (except for Florida...sorry Florida). With football season here, so come every rankings and polls you've ever heard...including the SECRant Football Power Rankings. Please ranters, contain your excitement. Before we can release our Power Rankings, we need a couple rankings from tRant.

If you want to contribute to this week's Football Power Rankings, submit your 1-14 ranking of the SEC teams here or email it to me (email is in my profile). We will randomly pick 2 rankings out of all the reasonable ones submitted. Voting closes Tuesday, and the winners will be announced in the Football Power Rankings thread on Wednesday.

Here are some suggestions that we give to the regular voters:

We aren't going to tie your hands with a "formula" but we encourage you to use some of the following: the past week's results, team momentum/trend, conference record, rankings (SOS, AP, Coaches, College Playoff Selection Committee Poll (whatever they decide it call it), etc), team stats, OOC record, overall record, eye-test. We trust that you're able to form your own combo of these elements without our guidance, but we would like you to emphasize what a team has most recently accomplished.
