AJ Johnson played well

So I've heard a couple talking heads say that AJ Johnson could be the best linebacker in the country this year. Personally I feel that is way too premature and not going to end up being true. Not trying to take anything away from his game last night tho. What does everyone think?

Definitely all SEC but too soon to tell about all America until he plays well against a team with a pulse.

I think he's top 5 in the country with the potential to be the best at year's end.

Easily the best player on UT's defense. He tackles too high imo for a LB but he gets away with it because he is so strong and athletic. He should be a good pro.

He has needed to improve his speed and coverage skills big time and I think he's definitely gotten better in those areas to make him more of a complete player. Great person as well, dude is hilarious in interviews

He played great last night He nearly had a second interception which would've been a walk in touchdown.
He's said she's studying more film which put him in position for those picks.
He's always been a good player.

AJ is great, but Cam Sutton has really turned it on since he arrived last year.
He had an excellent pick on an over thrown ball which turn the momentum back to us at a critical part of the game.
I'm excited to see this group grow

I think the upgraded athleticism on D, especially the D line, will allow AJ to shine a little brighter this year.
Best LB in the country is jumping the gun and I haven't heard any Vol fan say that. AJ has actually been under quite a bit of scrutiny from the fanbase due to his play in coverage.
