I wasn't able to watch the Arky-Auburn game so I have no idea how either looked.

I wanted Arkansas to get their arse whooped for two reasons: 1. It shows to me that they still suck cock and we will easily beat them (similar to Vanderbilt situation), and 2. I hate Arkansas.

So are they as bad as the score was? Worse? How'd they look?

They could start four hobos on bath salts in the secondary and it would be an improvement

They looked really good in the first half on offense. Huge offensive linemen and a stable of backs. No real WR's but a solid tight end.

Defense leaves a lot to be desired

i think they are little improved. allen didn't look bad and the running game was good. we just made awesome adjustments at half and only allowed like 60 total yards second half.

i think auburn's offense may be a little better this year honestly, which was going to be a hard task for arky to hang with for 4 quarters. we just wore them down eventually

Hard to tell from one game. The offense looked a tad better and the QB is at the least serviceable and maybe better. They have no depth, no quality receivers and a weak defense still.

Looked a lot better than last year's team during the first half and looked the same as last year's team during the second half.

I think they will be better, but I wouldn't bet on it.

They are improved a fair bit, particularly on offense. As long as Allen stays healthy I imagine they'll be able to upset one or two teams in SEC play and manage to go 6-6 (their SEC schedule is as brutal as ours is though, so equal odds they might have a losing record).

Their defense is still terrible, particularly against the pass, but they have much more balance on offense and their o-line is legit.

The Hogs need better talent at the WR and DB positions.

Otherwise, they can be a solid team.

Arky is improved. They just ran out of gas in the second half. I will be surprised if they go 0 for the SEC this year.

No, but they suffer from playing in the SEC West, the best division in all of sports. As they get better, so does everyone else and it really is just an uphill battle. No one is staying the same, they are all trying to get better and all have high ceilings.

I think it was a 28-21 game late in the third and then their QB got rekt as he threw the ball for a pick 6, then they just gave up. They will win a few SEC games this year.

Auburn had almost 600 yards of total offense, so they haven't improved much on defense. Jeremy Johnson started the game for Auburn at quarterback and had a ton of success passing. Nick Marshall took over in the 2nd half and Auburn had a ton of success running

Sounds like Arkie is a horrible team that hung with Aubie for a half of football. Ole Miss should still win the west.

No telling. I'm sure they beat Nicholls State by 4-5 TDs but then have 2 season trending games IMO in @ Texas Tech and then Northern Illinois.

Texas Tech beat Central Arkansas by a whopping 1 TD, Northern Illinois crushed Presbyterian 55-3.

They're still banning folks for bumping threads. Just a FYI. We don't need any more blood spilled during rivalry week.
