It is becoming alarmingly clear to many old SEC fans, me being one, that Texas A&M cannot continue to have the entire southwest for their bidding. There are nearly 25 million people in those two states and recruits want to play SEC ball.

Ask Texas, OU how many 4 and 5 star talent got away? Mucho. A&M, left alone in the southwest as the only SEC school will become a behemoth. This cannot be permitted to happen.

The talent with Texas and OU in the SEC would decrease A&M's current advantage. I'm sure Bama, LSU, etc know long term that this monster that Mike Slive created, will dominate the SEC for a very long time.

It's time for Disney to make this happen. Let's pull the plug on the LHN. Let the rest of the Big 12 go off and find new homes. Only ESPN/ Disney have the money and clout too persuade all the SEC Presidents to vote in favor of accepting OU and Texas. If we were serious, the money would be so great, and most important, OU and Texas could tout that they could play in the greatest conference.

I actually agree with you. We love the huge advantage. Sumlin is raking in the recruits.

But Texas would never go.

In fairness, the season hasn't started for everyone. Still got a few more hours of prime offseason posts.

And yet the most ballyhooed recruits at aTm come from Arizona and La.

A&M is a 6-6 team at best without LA recruits.

It's been said that OU wants the SEC but couldn't make the jump during the last offer. So we grabbed Mizzou instead. OU is getting tired of daddy Texas, and OKState stanks.

Neither one add significant TV markets, which is the reason de jure of conference realignment (at least for the SEC).

Expect a NC and VA School in the future. My bets are on VATech and NCState.

Coastalag,
The impetus for starting this thread did not hit me until after watching A&M beat shite out of South Carolina . We let Aggie in the conference for the eyeballs and the $1.40 per household. My concern is Bama's long term survival as top dog in the SEC. Aggie has an unfair advantage over every other SEC school by being the only Sec school in one of the most populous and football craved states. It purely mathematical. K for taking time to read and post.

Never gonna happen. Ask the Mizzou fans what they think of that idea.

Why don't you start hydrating for the WVU game?

Elk,
Hydrate, that's funny. I'm sure Dana will light up Nick. Only problem for Dana is Nicks gonna do the same. I say 123-89 Bama

No thanks
Texas has destroyed every conference they've ever been in.

You're scared of Texas A&M.

There's no other explanation for this post.

Lol. I've seen't it all now, Bama fan scared of aTm.

Oh, for fricks sakes people, get a grip on reality.

God damn, 3 years in and us Big 12 also rans have you stepping and fetching, have some fricking pride you retarded fricks.

Snap out of it. Stop being scared and just play some fricking football.

Just get over it dude. There are teams that may threaten your teams dominance. That's why you pay your coach $7mill per year.

To keep you from blowing up your trailer park.

Relax.
