I don't think I would ever read that. Too many good books out there to waste time reading a book by Finebaum and Wojiwhatever.

I had certain expectations and they were pretty much met. Its a decent read. I read most of it on the plane yesterday in about 3 hours. I will finish it tomorrow.

Since I have only listened to his show about three or four times, I did learn some things about it and some of the callers...

I like how there is nothing LSU-related on the cover.

First time I've seen it.
He shoulda released it earlier in the offseason--when folks are lookin for a fix to satisfy their desperate need of any football talk.
As it stands, it'll likely soon find itself in the clearance section, affixed with a fluorescent orange reduced sticker.

I agree with you. I was on the way to vacation for a week and grabbed it up. Impulse purchase.

To be honest, he is pretty easy on LSU in the book so far. Other than Auburn, UGA is the team he gives the least respect to.

He pretty much down plays everything Auburn related. I did expect that.

No, but I am mildly interested. I guess it's like if Miley Cyrus offered to show me her tits.

So what does that mean?

Also, I did hear a quote from the book that Finebaum called Spurrier to check interest in the Bama HC job before they hired Saban. I didn't know he was so directly involved in the program.

Yes. He says it did happen. Of course his relationship with OBC started with a bang. OBC called him and cussed him out for some of his on air comments. Eventually, they kissed and made up.

He says he did call spurrier and ask him if he was interested in the job before Saban was hired. OBC was happy at USC. Spurrier got a raise the next day
