Just jogged through campus at South Carolina. Been to stadium many times, but never realized the beauty of the campus. Blown away.

Nobody knows about our campus because it is like finding the end of a rainbow in relation to the stadium.

I've been to 3 Alabama/USC games up there. Never once been to campus.

But it also stays beautiful on the weekends because all of the trash and traffic of gamedays stays limited to the stadium area. I can't imagine how disgusting the campus would look if the stadium was where the library is, as it originally was.

Is that a badge of honor, or just a FYI? Dunno why you'd take a road trip to an SEC school and not tour the campus.

That is actually a good point. Some of the most peaceful times on campus that I remember are on gamedays. It is completely empty.

And you haven't granted me permission on SC board. But you do mention me there.

You would be very wrong. One trip to Carowinds water park will change your outlook on that.

Plus when college gameday comes to town it limits how many away fans show up.

I remember when gameday came to town in 2004 vs UGA and put their set near the stadium. There were so many UGA fans there you'd think it was neutral site.

Then they show up again in 2010 vs 'Bama and 2012 vs UGA but put the set on the Horseshoe... hardly an opposing fan in sight.
