Our DBs should be a bit higher (USCe and UGA have big time problems in the secondary), our QB should should be a bit higher (beat a top 5 team last year, almost beat UGA), and our RBs should be one or 2 spots higher (based off Hurd's potential) IMO, but overall good list.

Agreed.

Accurate

I'd switch 1 and 2 but it looks alright.

I'd switch 2 and 3

I'd definitely move Mizzou down and UGA up. We have experience and depth there.

Idk about that. I'd put our lb's up against anyone in the country.

This is more of a crapshoot than QB

Yeah, DB was hard as well. Not a lot of proven guys returning so I weighted that heavily.

LBs flip UGA and UF. Floyd and Wilson had better years last year than Taylor, Morrison, and Ball.

DL- UF should be higher than Mizzou, UF is returning everyone except Easley. Fowler and Bullard are beasts. Mizzou lost both DEs.

Golden and Ray are beast as well and we return our entire DT rotation. I'm sticking on that one, but seems a consensus on the LBs so I'll flip those two.

Ray and Golden should be just as good, if not better than Ealy and Sam. That assumption is based off their actual previous in-game performances, not mere expectations/potential. We return everyone on our two-deep at DT. Mizzou will be stacked on the DL.

Fowler and Bullard are proven studs especially Fowler. Proven > Unproven

Ray and Golden are proven studs, as well.

Not a bad list, but UGA should be higher here

I think this is good but I'd put Thompson over Mason for now. I am with you on Mauk.

I'd take our depth over UT but still valid. I'd give USCe over UF because, well, UF hasn't proven me wrong for a while.

I always think UGA should be lower on this. USC is in a class of it's own this year in the East

UF is better than everyone. Too ignorant on the rest.

Works for me

UGA has too much unproven back there to be that high

I think you did a damn fine job

Mauk has had a pretty poor fall camp. 1st scrimmage was about what we hoped for. The last 2 scrimmages, his completion percentage fell well below 50%. With so many new QB's it's hard to rank exactly where' they'll end up, but at this point, I wouldn't have Mauk sitting on top. Somewhere around 3 or 4 sounds about right. Won't argue 2 or 5 either though.

I think it's him and Thompson for the East. I think Mason is in their tier but I think he's the 3rd guy. He has more weapons to play with but I think talent-wise he's behind both. I just really like Mauk's grit and talent level and Thompson has the experience except, idk, he gives off a vibe to me that he isn't gonna excel in the big moment. He kind of folded in on himself vs yall. He didn't choke but he didn't do anything either. He flatlined. Mason, on the other hand, in the same position as Thompson, was the opposite. Started off atrocious vs Nebraska and very timid vs GT and then came back with his head on fire vs both.

Then there is Mauk who just balled out vs Okie Lite and co. And then our defense which I found very disappointing.

I think the DB ranking for UGA is too high.

I'm sorry the team with the only returning starter at QB- a guy with an 8-1 record in SEC play is 4th in the East, that's laughable.

Wait, was Mason hurt for 4 years and that's why spot starter Aaron Murray came in? Murray was one hell of a back up QB then.
