Sorry, Im a little hogsessed right now.
No one seems to talk about this big time matchup of powerhouse programs and former rivals.
It is on the road at The Jones in Lubbock, but Arkansas will have already played @ Auburn, while TT plays scrubs. Texas Tech did have a pretty impressive bowl game where they dismantled Arizone State.
Will Bert protect the SEC's reputation?
More importantly, will Bert eat Kliff Kingsbury?

they can probably give them a good game. I'd lean slightly towards TT at home.

Arkansas will lose badly. Afterward, Bert will collect the tortillas that their fans throw to the turf and proceed to eat all of them. Because Bert is fat.

It could go either way. The odds are overwhelming that Techsas is going to be another 7/8 win team, but that's going to be better than us. I have this penciled as a potential win.

If Bert hates the Auburn HUNH, wait til he sees Texas Tech. They were second in the country in snaps per game last year.

Yes. Bert will have the right game plan. TTU slings the ball around through the air. They can't run it or stop the run. Arky rushes for around 500 yards, controls the clock and wins going away.

Tech fans point to the bowl game as the best example of their team, but totally disregard the five game losing streak to end the regular season.
Plus a lot of the players from that Holiday bowl team are gone.
Eta: and Kingsbury is actually a worse recruiter than Bielema. Hasn't even cracked the top 40 since he's been at Tech.

Probably because their opponent closed the season on a 9 game losing streak.

I wonder who ate more fur burgers back in the day, Jesse or Kliff?

I'm not just talking about how they approach the Arkansas game.

It's a wonder we are even fielding a team this season...
