Has anyone here ever invented anything, got a patent, etc?

I have a design for something, but for whatever reason never acted upon it. Was curious if anyone else herr actually had an invention they took to market.

I personally own two patents on the same device:
1) Walking with a backpack spray aparatus on your back and spraying behind you via electrical pump
2) Using a GPS device to record such activity

Patents stagnate innovation. They are too broad and are usually used to stifle competition.

Also, that is kind of the point. Most don't have the means to ever take them to market. Ideas are bought and sat on, then innovative startups are sued with a frivolous patent claim. They protect only the most wealthy and were never meant to encourage innovation.
