SEC Basketball Media Days Leaving Birmingham

SIAP. I looked and didn't see it.

There have been lots of threads on the Rant about people wanting SEC events to be moved from B'ham b/c they think that Bama has an unfair advantage. Here is a small step in that direction.

SEC Basketball Media Days is leaving Birmingham and will be in Charlotte. That certainly makes some sense w/ the SECN facilities there, but I do question seeing SEC events held outside the SEC footprint. Will football media days be next?

thats fair. i don't think football will be moved though. SEC football is too tradition when it comes to stuff like that

SEC football does not go to the media, the media comes to SEC football

Great. WTF is the connection between Charlotte and ESPN and thus all things SEC??
