Could be wrong but I don't believe he is a take for us yet. My guess is Georgia Tech.

I highly doubt Trevon makes the same mistake his brother did, which was take his talents to the football land of irrelevance in Maryland.

Not sure Stefon considers that a mistake. He just got hurt & that could have happened anywhere. Maryland is the overwhelming favorite for Trevon right now.

4* & top 100 overall prospect in 2017 RB Alaric Williams has AU on top & may be back as early as next week.

Sounds like a 70% lock.

Heard his dad was pretty anti him looking around though. I wouldn't worry too much

Trevon has been calling Bama his leader for a while now.

I think he said that the last week or 2. FWIW no Bama 247 reporters have crystal balled Diggs anywhere yet. If they truly led you would think the Bama 247 writers would have him CBed to Bama. Also there are no Haskins picks for Bama. That includes 1 Bama 247 guy picking tOSU a while back.

@Allie_Davison: #Auburn would have big momentum heading into Big Cat Weekend if they land commitments from #Rivals100 Eli Stove & #Rivals250 John Broussard.

Looks like Eli may commit any day now.
quote:

There's really no need to go on (with recruiting) if you know," Stove said.

"I thought about committing to Auburn Saturday," Stove said. "But it will definitely be soon.

"I've always liked Auburn and my trip was great. It's great every time I visit Auburn, and if a place is great every time, then it basically is the place that fits you."

"It was really good," Stove said. "The game was good. I liked it a lot. I got to see the quarterbacks and the receivers throw the ball a little more. I watched Sean White and Jeremy Johnson.

"I also watched a little defense, but my main focus was on the receivers and how they run their routes."

"Auburn is my No. 1 school," Stove said. "Auburn is a great school and has a great opportunity for me.

"I don't know the date I'll commit, but it will be soon. I probably will just tell Coach Malzahn when I get ready (instead of a ceremony)."

I can't see us taking Diggs or seriously pursuing him if we were to land Stove. My guess is we'd look to add a bigger WR, 6'2-6'5 type, now if we have Craig and Stove.

I'm not sure. You know talent well. Do either Eli or Nate fit the Speed WR role? Last I read on WRs the staff wanted 1 Speed WR in the class.

I was told this yesterday by someone close to Tre this would happen. My pick now is AU...And yes I know that's not what guys like Randy & maybe 24 want to read.

Nate-Craig, Eli Stove, Darius Slayton and Ryan Anderson isn't a bad group of wrs. I too would like to add a bigger physical guy to go with these. Wouldn't be surprised if Slayton moved to cb even though we finished recruiting him as a wr not a cb. We're hurting at cb

Craig is the prototype NFL WR. He's both size and speed. Slayton is a guy that is a legit 6'1 too, so he's a bigger guy. Stove is big enough (will be after S&C) to play either slot or WR. Ryan Davis is a faster/shiftier WR.
