2015 offensive line

From what I've been reading about Rod Taylor he will work himself heavily into the rotation this year and may take Bell's job.
Now I know a lot of things happen in a year that hurts a team like injuries, regression and grandparents getting sick but could our 2015 offensive line be the best in Ole Miss history?
Tunsil (Jr.), Morris (rSr.), {A lot of candidates here}, Taylor (So.), Cooper (rSr.)
It will be pretty rough in 2016 after Tunsil, Morris and Cooper are gone but 2015 looks like a brick wall to try to run through. What be the thoughts of tRebelRant?

Hopefully Patterson and Richmond will be around to help out after next season.
I would like to think that we'll be fairly confident in our offensive front going into next season. Success in 2015 will come down to quarterback play considering everyone else returns with Vince being the exception.

Bell is the smartest offensive lineman we have and if Taylor develops quickly he will be at center. I can feel it in my plums.
If we capitalize on our gains and win 9 or more games we will flip Womack and land Richmond. Patterson is ours. Couple those with a redshirted Sims, Rawlings(future center), Conyers, Bouldin, and the aforementioned guys and that's real SEC quality depth. If Putman's develops that's just another Tackle sized body to throw in the mix.

agreed. I think before mid season Bell will be at center and either Taylor or Bouldin at Guard.

Doesn't Freeze like to rotate O lineman to keep them fresh in the hurry up? Obviously Tunsil won't ever leave the field but there is plenty of PT for 8 or 9 guys barring injury. If they can handle it the experience will do wonders for the future.

That is correct sir. Hopefully the young guys are as smart as advertised.

I don't think Rod will play center we should be pretty deep there with Still, then Rawlings, and then Johnson.
2015 IMO
Tunsil, A Morris, Still, Taylor, Cooper with the backup line being Richmond, Patterson, Rawlings, Sims, C. Morris. Conyers, Bouldin, Putman, and Johnson providing quality third string depth.
Justin Bell is listed as a junior. Is he a junior or senior this year?

Didn't he RS in 2011? I could've sworn he was.
I know you meant Bell in the first sentence but I've seen Still and Conyers at center and they just don't cut it against elite DTs and we face a lot of those. Obviously I hope that changes or I'm not seeing what they do in closed practices.

Read it the way you meant it, then read it the way I read it...
(If Taylor continues to develop Bell will be at Center is what you meant, the way I read it was if Taylor continues to develop you think HE(Taylor) will be at center)

shite my bad dude. I skip punctuation a lot on here because I'm on the phone and I'm lazy. It's a poorly constructed sentence.

You're correct, 2015 OL will be the best in school history, but I expect the 2016 OL to be better than this years. If we get Richmond he will be our LT and with Rankin and Morris battling for the RT spot. So RT is better. Rod will be a junior and if recruiting rankings are correct, will be better than Aaron, especially the year he's coming off an ACL tear. Daronte will probably the be the other guard, being a 5th year senior and his 4th year Ina row being the strongest reb on the team, which is obviously better than Bell. Either Conyers or Rawlings will be our center, obviously better than this years center. We will be deeper and better and every position other than LT. We shouldn't have an OL worse than this years from here on out

Where's Patterson in all that?

I completely forgot Christian Morris too. Hopefully Kincade is ready because he's getting keys to a Porsche

A back up. That's why I'm saying there will be more depth. Instead of stating a jr Juco, we could have a sr juco as a backup. Instead of having an elite freshman guard as a backup, we could have an elite sophomore guard as a backup. The depth and improvement at every position other than LT makes the 2016 better than this years as long as the LT is decent. A sophomore Richmond, 5th year junior Morris, or Sr. Rankin should give us a decent LT

I was on the phone with her and I laughed. Game over after that.
