This was actually pretty classy, which is why, IMHO, the PAC 12 is our peer in all of this.

Let them control the Left Coast, we'll control the Right ... and the two can meet for the big prize in everything every year as far as I am concerned.

Anyway, here was their tweet:

Pac-12 Networks @Pac12Networks · 33m
Big congrats to the @SECNetwork on launch day!

I sort of hate every other conference but the Pac-12.

Only other conference I can kinda respect. They have the best teams. But outside of stanford. They are weak and we will always own them.

They are our equals in baseball IMHO.

Maybe superior to us in basketball ... men's basketball, not women's basketball.

Football, we have the edge but they are trying to make a move.

All other sports in which both leagues compete ... it's pretty even between the PAC 12 and SEC.

We have far better fans - there is no denying that.

That was indeed classy. The PAC and SEC are far enough apart to where when we meet we do tend to get along. Besides, their network is pure money so they have no need to hate like others.

My exact thoughts. I'm not a fan of a lot of things from the left coast, but the Pac is a classy conference and I enjoy watching their games. The B1G is a bunch of elitist asses, the ACC is boring outside of basketball, and the Big-12 has a far too high opinion of themselves.

Wait, whut?

3 SEC schools have NC's and several more have been to the Final Four.

By decades
1940's : SEC 2, PAC 2 (counting Oregon win in 1939)
1950's : SEC 2, PAC 1
1960's : SEC 0, PAC 5
1970's : SEC 1, PAC 5
1980's : SEC 0, PAC 0
1990's : SEC 3, PAC 2
2000's : SEC 3, PAC 0 (counting UK's win in 2012)

In the modern era the SEC is 3:1 over the PAC

Hard to argue with that.

We have Kentucky and Florida. They have UCLA ... a long time ago.

We've taken the lead, you're right.

Hogs won a NCAA for the SEC too. Hogs need to get back to that point.

They gave AZ that title in 97 or SEC would have 1 more and UK would have a 3 peat. Without Papa Sam, Wooden would be pretty much unknown.

If Mizzou can get their sh*t together and get to a Final Four and Hogs + LSU + Tide could get back to their old forms, it would not even be close.

Agreed. As soon as my Hogs start to play anywhere close to the we played in the 90's it will be as if we never left that form in the eyes of the national media. Which will be great for the SEC. I would also love to see Bama and Lsu back to old form. Can't forget that Auburn has Pearl so expect to see them shine soon.
