First game of the season, so I'll be watching aTm and USCe. I can't wait for the melt to commence following this game. I'm quite sure which fan base will be salty.

It was a good win. I don't think SCAR has a lot of room to talk here. Both are teams who are trying to reinvent themselves, SCAR just has a 5 year head start.
5 years ago, a fun win over a decent Duke team would have been good for upstart SCAR as well, so I don't get the hate.

You're absolutely right.. The Carolina fans who talk smack like this probably weren't even around until 2009 or later.
We have the team now to be confident and a hell of a home win streak but comments like this just make us look stupid when we haven't really won anything yet. 5,10 years ago we would have paraded the CFA trophy around like we'd won the NC (which Clemson still does).
That said, we will win this game.
