Is playing in the SEC the only thing stopping Bama from 2013 FSU Offensive #s?

They were number 6 in total offense and number 2 in scoring offense.

We can win without doing that, but what's really the difference?

Has it been play calling? They aren't exactly more talented than Bama is.

Is it just because Bama plays in the SEC and they play in the ACC?

Is it because Saban is afraid to hurt people's feelings and score big time points consistently?

True, and while I think Kiffin is a good playcaller, would Saban even let us do absurd things?

I hope we do absurd things this year. I'd like Nick to let Kiffin ring up 60 in Neyland.

Shitty o-line play at times, shitty play calling all the time

Whether we have Coker or Sims taking the snaps, e're gonna have an athletic guy back there who can make things happen with his feet, and that could be huge. AJ was underrated when it came to avoiding pressure, but Coker/Sims can avoid it and then run if they have to and get good gains. Coker had some really nice looking runs/dodges in that video of his 2013 play. I've said before, when you break his 2013 regular season play down, it wasn't near as bad as the stats lead you to believe. He was under pressure a lot and there were a few drops. You do notice some issues like inconsistent footwork, but he's never had much live game experience to get better off of. IF he can win the job, you're gonna see him evolve throughout the season without that experience.

Don't get it twisted though. Talking about potential here. He may never come close to reaching it.

A bit long, but a really good read about Kiffin and our offense. Also, it's old, but here:
