Reagan shooting. Never seen the whole clip. It's insane. RT @clintonyates: Seriously. Watch this. Total pandemonium. LINK

I've never seen this before, have any of you? Interesting to see the response to a crisis. I was shocked to see guys suddenly appear with automatic weapons. Whole clip is crazy. James Brady, who was paralyzed during the shooting died today

That man pulling out an Uzi was like Brick pulling out a grenade.

"Where'd you get that Uzi?"

Exactly. That doesn't seem like the type of weapon that's easily concealed? I suppose Presidents have people positioned in strategic places when they make appearances who carry more than your basic service gun

That was intense. They were probably waiting for another gunman to start firing.

Yeah, figured this would get new life with James Brady dying today.

I remember when that happened like it was yesterday. I've probably seen that clip a hundred times over the years.

Note the Secret Service guys, how they stepped in front of Reagan and the one guy spread his arms out trying to take the bullet ... they call it, "making himself bigger," and they are taught to do it.

Unfortunately, the liberals used this, and Brady's name hence, to go after our 2nd Amendment Constitutional Right to Keep and Bear Arms.

But yeah, I remember it like it happened yesterday.

Reagan was spitting blood by the time they got him to the hospital ... matter of fact, when they first shoved him in the car neither he nor the Secret Service guys knew he had been hit ... but he came very close to dying by the time they got him in surgery.

This pic is from the other OT. According to wikipedia,
quote:

Agent Robert Wanko (misidentified as "Steve Wanko" in a newspaper report) took an Uzi from a briefcase to cover the President's evacuation and to deter a potential group attack.

Don't ever think those guys aren't serious. Many years ago I helped set up some events attended by Bush 1. When those guys open up the back doors of those black Suburbans, there is some serious firepower in those things. Not counting what is on their body.
