Who would Slive have gone after? Is it too late?

Not sure but Campbell University is sounding better and better. Get North Carolina instead of Missouri TV viewers. Win.

Virginia Tech. And it is too late. Looks like we are stuck with them. Thanks Slive.

Mizzou wanted to go to the B1G but the B1G had other ideas. We ended up with them and you know the rest. We could have gone east and plucked the ACC, but Slive wanted markets as well as academics and Mizzou was the only chose ready to jump

Agreed. It's funny how easy it would have been to make a better choice.

We were in negotiations with the B1G , but neither side would budge on junior membership. Nebraska didn't have any problem with being a junior member. An SEC offer wasn't on the table at the time.

I move that we remove Florida and replace them with Georgia Southern. Any team that plays against themselves isn't worthy of this conference

The only move you'll be making is on your boyfriend. NTTIAWWT. Move away.

Been around this place long enough to know BS when it smells. Also know most of you don't want a team to join that would be a perceived threat. Guessing you would have been happier with WV.

Too bad....

The only threat you have brought so far is exposing people to two men tongue wrestling on national tv

No, we wanted the Virginia and Carolina markets but we couldn't take Va Tech without Virgina nor Carolina without Duke. That is what truly killed the deal. Slive wanted one school from each state.

Clemson
Clemson was never a choice due to the east block agreement and we already have the S.C. tv market
