Proud to announce that I have have decided to commit to The University Of Missouri!!! I look forward to becoming a Tiger.
After Florida and Georgia, Missouri has been looking to Tennessee as new recruiting grounds since joining the SEC. Hall is our 5th commit from Tennessee between last class and this class.

Will be interesting to see how 2nd tier TN talent does in the SEC. I have a feeling it will be better than people think.
When the 24th best player in the state is good enough to play at Mizzou, I think that's proof of how far the state has come recently in terms of talent produced.

24th best player in the state according to a recruiting service, not according to the coaches. Mizzou's coaches targeted Hall over a lot of receivers rated higher by Rivals, 247, and the rest.

I think there's little question that the state of Tennessee's football talent has improved over the years. My other guess...he might be the 24th ranked player by the services but he's not the 24th best player in the state. Not saying he's a top 5 or even top 10 talent in Tennessee, but I am saying GP is fairly good at finding 2 or 3* guys with 4* talent/potential that others miss.
I think there's no question that we missed out on our first options (Ofodile/Boykin) but GP is pretty good about limiting the damage when he misses out on option 1 by finding under rated second options.

Who is Vanderbilt holding out for? I read ya'll are only taking 1 WR this class and told Hall to wait when he tried to commit

I don't know exactly. They are recruiting Christian Kirk, Equanimeous St. Brown & Auden Tate as well as a # of other guys, none of whom I've heard are overly interested.
As of now the most likely candidate is Gary Jennings out of VA. He is 100% CB to Vandy.
He and Hall are listed at identical size and rated similarly with the edge to Hall.
I wouldn't think he's that guy you hold out for. More of, take the first one to commit.
