Typically an ounce or less is considered personal use and a misdemeanor or even a minor civil infraction. 8-10 grams is 1/4 to 1/3 of an ounce approximately.

No. There are approx 28 grams in an ounce. Most people buy in 1/4 ounces or 1/8 ounces, so 8 grams is about a 1/4 ounce.

The state of Georgia changed their stance on it a few years ago and anything less than an ounce is a misdemeanor, because they finally realized anyone with less than an ounce is probably not selling it.

The more you know....

If he completes the program and has the charges dismissed, he can get the arrest expunged in Alabama and would not have to list it on an application.

He earned his way back on the team IMO. He should start.

I don't really know how much he had on him. I only said 8-10 grams because of the discussion about Marshall that occurred yesterday.
