Yes or no to conference division rings?

Sorry but I think this is sorta sad. Rings are supposed to be for something really special, not winning a division or a bowl game

My buddy has 2 UGA SEC East Champions Rings from 2011 and 2012.

Well it's Duke. They should be proud of making some noise for once, even if it's a division champ. You have to remember that it's mainly for the college kids to be proud of, don't shite on their days.

Good way to give players stuff for free that they can later sell. Those things must be worth a few hundred to the right person.

That's cool for Duke but that ring is obnoxiously big for a division title. Most championship rings look pretty tacky.

No. The Conference champs should get more than the Division champ. Give out hats for winning the Divisions.

Yes ... they are 18-22 yrs old kids. It's a big deal for them.

Soldiers get medals and ribbons, gridiron warriors get rings. Absolutely.

I agree. Giving them out for division championships, etc. seem like participation trophy shite to me.
