quote:

UGA police are investigating a dormitory burglary that allegedly involves one prospect who visited The Bulldogs’ Dawg Night camp over the weekend.

The police have identified a visiting out-of-state prospect as the target of the investigation, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, and the prospect’s name hasn’t been released yet.

“We do have the person identified,” UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “We know them to be visiting our campus as a football recruit. How he got access to the residence hall, an access-controlled facility, was he was spending the night with two other football players. He was bunked out with these two other football players for the night.

How does UGA attract such young men of interesting character?

Athens is trashy. People who disagree are dawg fans or have only been on gameday.

UGA attracts them.

Auburn actively recruits them (Cam, Marshall, etc..)

That I am, I used to go to Athens quite often on weekends growing up. You could show the bouncers a WalMart Gift Card with your picture taped to it and get in at most bars there.

It's a college town, what do you expect? 75-80% of UGA undergrads are underage and the bars have to make their money. If you really think it's any different in any other college town you should probably visit others more often.

And we all know that Baton Rouge is the epitome of class: low crime rate, low poverty, et al

I am sure it doesn't compare to the lofty standards set in Baton Rougue

It depends on what bars you go to. There's trashy bars in Athens but every town has their trashy bars. Athens is awesome.

I've been to plenty, UGA is just below Tennessee in that regard. And I never said it was a bad thing, younger poon

Most of it isn't classy at all, but I prefer it to Athens. But then again peace signs, not showering, and jam bands aren't my thing.

I keep forgetting. What kind of balloons do LSU fans throw at opposing fans?
