Seems like good news for us. Also doesn't look like hes looking for a lateral move since he turned down FSU after Pruitt went to UGA.

Interesting bone he threw to Va Tech, he knows Beamer probably won't be there more than a few more years most likely.

True, I think the baby that's growing out of beamers neck is gonna bring him down sooner than later.

He loves Va Tech. He'd take that job in a skinny minute. He'll have to get past Torrian Gray, Shane (Beamer) and Bud Foster ... who is a defensive guy in his own right.
Shane, of course, if he were to get the job he'd probably keep Foster as his DC.
Whammy is behind Bubba here, but who knows. It's an interesting situation for Ward.
Were I Ward I'd be happy making the money I am making without having all the HC responsibilities. He'll be making a million a year here if he sticks around long enough and continues to field solid defenses ... plus he is just a helluva recruiter in the Atlanta area. I'd hate to lose that.
Ward is a Spurrier disciple. He loves the HBC and the HBC loves him, I know that for a fact.
