First, I appreciate the board access.

The beginning of a (hopefully) close and heated rivalry.

First game ever on the SEC network.

Getting to experience a night game in WBS.

Sadly, not getting to witness the home streak you cocks have going be snapped.

34-27 Cocks in this one I believe. Do you guys have a score prediction thread up and going yet? I know its early but we get pretty bored on tAggyArk so we started one.

Concerns coming into the season? Young secondary? Spurrier seems confident about his team.

Heres to the first of hopefully many good games.

This may be the year USC wins the SEC.

With an O/U of that prediction being 61, I would take the over. I wouldn't be surprised to see both teams get north of 35 pts. Y'all's defense was bad last year, and we are replacing some key guys AND trying out a new 3-4 scheme.

Ball possession will be critical this game, we'll have to slow down the HUNH with grinding the clocks with a RB's. Also, whoever has the fewest turnovers will probably win this game. My prediction could greatly change after fall camp, but a shot in the dark right now would be SC; 45-35

Going to be a pretty big deal with the SEC Network and all. A great way to start off the new cross-divisional rivalry...

That's our annual preseason motto.

We're not overlooking A&M, that's for sure.

Too many questions in our secondary.

It will be a historic night so it'll probably illicit and produce a historic type ballgame to be replayed for decades to come ... although I wish it would be a blowout in favor of the Cocks.

I like the potential for this rivalry. Our two states' citizenry is very similar in a lot of ways.

Plus I like this whole Bonham Trophy thing. I rode by his old homestead Monday on my way to Saluda.

Plus there is the Travis connection ... I wish we weren't all so politically correct as to ignore that one.

Does this also mean we will play the first game in the new and improved and enlarged Kyle Field? It does, does it not ... in the 2015 opener?

Aggies should enjoy the gameday experience. Our fans are rabid.

I could see A&M going up early on some quick strikes that take advantage of some early confusion, and then us grinding the game out in the second half. I certainly don't think a W is assured.

That's what I hope, get up by a couple scores, and then eat up that clock like Kobayashi.

Looks that way unless they bump our meeting from Week 1. The stadium will be completely ready Week 1 of 15'. Barring any setbacks (Alabama fans). Would be pretty cool. We play in WBS with a chance to break the streak on a historic night, the next year you are our home opener in the new stadium and its against a top notch SEC east opponent.

Its quite difficult not to get excited about this game each year.

Would be neat to have another yearly start of season conference game on the regular. Maybe... the Deep South's Newest Rivalry on the Last Thursday in August... or DSNR/LTIA. We could make it a thing...
