Most of these guys just didn't pan out or led very lukewarm careers at Alabama. Some have one more year to make some sort of splash. I bolded the players who were at least okay.

Deion Belue DB - An okay career at Alabama. Was burned way too many times though.

Ronnie Carswell WR - Transfered to West Virgnia and kicked out there too.

Corey Grant RB - Couldn't cut it at Alabama and transfered to Auburn.

Alfy Hill LB - Some sort of class problem with being eligible. Plays for USCE now.

Adrian Hubbard LB - Very medicore player. Selfish and thought too highly of himself. Didn't buy into the system.

Brandon Ivory DL - Has one more year to make a big splash. Could happen as the DL looks to be very good.

Harrison Jones TE - Injured and not able to play.

Arie Kouandjio OL - Not as good as his brother. Maybe will prove to be as good this year but doubtful.

Wilson Love DL - Never saw the field at Alabama.

Keiwone Malone WR - Violated rules and was suspended and transfered.

DeQuan Menzie DB - Had a solid 2011 season and was a good player for us.

C.J. Mosley LB - Outstanding player and leader. One of the best that has played at Bama and one of the best of this class.

Nick Perry DB - Hasn't made a splash yet due to injurys. Lets see what he does the final year.

Blake Sims ATH - Hard worker but just not a very good QB. Should have tried to convert to a rb/wr.

Brian Vogler TE - Might make an impact but has a much more talented and younger TE in front of him.

DeAndrew White WR - Solid player. Has a chance to have a great final season at the capstone.

Jarrick Williams DB - Injured for some of his time at Bama. Not too sure what he will do his final season here but has potential.

Jay Williams P - Didn't do much.

Cade Foster PK - One of the worst players to every wear the crimson tide uniform. Cost Bama multiple games and a chance at a 3rd title in a row.

Jalston Fowler RB - Hard working and solid player. Will make waves his final season here.

John Fulton DB - Meh career at Alabama.

Brandon Lewis DL -Stayed in trouble and didn't do crap at Bama.

Chad Lindsay OL - Was a solid player but transfered to Ohio State.

Darius McKeller OL - Didn't pan out and transfered.

DeMarcus Milliner DB - One of the Alabama greats. Was a great player while at Bama was defintley missed the 2013 season.

Anthony Orr DL - Ddidn't see the field at all.

Austin Shepherd OL - An okay player. Not sure what kind of impact he will have in his final year.

Phillip Sims QB - Ddidn't pan out and transfered.

Petey Smith LB - Didn't pan out and transfered out.

Chris Capps already took this award and ran with it

Cade Foster was not one of the worst players to ever wear the uniform. Before the collapse in the auburn game, he was having a solid year. Unfortunately, in the two most crucial big games in the last two years, he was a disaster.

I would take Cade Foster's kicking over Brandon Avalos' performance at quarterback any day of the year.

Spencer Pennington was worse than Avalos IMHO. And who can forget the All-American caliber blocking of the legendary Chris Capps?

Larry, we all know the Bama recruiting hype is way overblown. You're not telling us anything new. I'm sure this class was probably rated top 5 by some services. For example, Bama allegedly picks and chooses who it wants from GA. But, the only above average player I can remember during Saban's tenure from GA was Chance Warmack and you got him because we didn't offer. Mistake on our part, but we didn't get "beat" in the strictest sense of the word. Some of the other guys were hyped up after Bama "swooped in and stole them," only to have middling, mediocre careers.

I blame Lil Nick's poor record at player development. Sort of like CGC's.

I wouldn't go that far. 2008 and 2009 classes were some of the best ever.

Shepherd had a solid year last year at RT. I'll have to check cfbstats, but I believe most of Yeldon's production came off the right side with Steen and Shepherd.

Other than that, yeah, kind of right. This class isn't anywhere as good as the '08,'09, or '11 classes. Alfy Hill was getting a lot of praise in spring, but something fricked up and he had to be released.

2008 and 2009 were a long time ago, Larry.

And those were the only two games where he was critically needed to help win a game. Yeah, he was one of the worst.
