Cornerback Damon Arnette of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has committed to South Carolina for the Class of 2015.

South Carolina commit Mark Fields defeated Miami pledge Jordan Scarlett in a head-to-head race to win the fastest man at the Nike Sparq Competition held at The Opening on Tuesday.
Fields ran a 4.34 and Scarlett posted a 4.38 in the finals.
Both made the finals with the two of the fastest 40-yard dash times in the morning. Scarlett went 4.30 and Fields went 4.33. In all, seven guys ran under 4.4 on the day
