So far USC, LSU, Vandy and Georgia are the only ones (correct me if i am wrong, please).

The top candidates right now are as follows:
1) Florida
2a) Ole Miss
2b) State
4) Arky
5) A&M

Florida and LSU are gonna be the SEC's best bets next year IMO.

I think Vandy may be the best team in the East next year because I think they have a lot coming back. That being said y'all had a very young team win the SEC this year so y'all will definitely be up there. LSU will always be LSU

Vandy is returning 8/9 position players and return a solid pitching staff.

South Carolina is always going to be in contention as well.

I know that. I just think LSU and Florida were both really good and really young this season, and they're gonna be scary good next year.

Y'all didn't even make it out of a regional and were one game above .500 in the SEC.

I thought about putting them in there but decided not to since they were in the Big 8 (?) at the time.

Y'all were a force in the late 90's but your athletic department all of a sudden just stopped giving a damn about baseball for some reason.

I think A&M has a pretty good team coming back next year. The list I made excluded teams who have already won a title.

This is my rule as well. When a team wins a championship, it should count for whatever conference they were in at the time. So Miami's titles don't count for the ACC, and they still haven't won since 1955...

Ok... Now it makes sense.

State isn't going to be very good next season... They lose 2 of the only 3 hitters in that lineup... All their outfielders are gone... Mitchell is coming back but as far as guys with the most electric stuff, (Lingo, Woodruff and Holder) all 3 are gone... Watching their starting catcher behind the plate reminds of watching a little league catcher manage a game at the New Albany Sportsplex.. On top of all that, Wes Rea is starting to resemble Bert.

Did you mean, next team "other than" the usual suspects?

The next team to win another CWS from the SEC will likely be LSU, SCAR or Vandy.

After that I think ... lemme look again ... yeah, I think you're probably playing the odds there and have it right from an odds perspective.

Yes. The next SEC team to win a national title in baseball as in one that hasn't won the title yet.
