Wasn't Bertolet a three star and he can't kick an extra point? You just never know with kickers because the mental aspect is huge. LSU has had a couple of good walk ons. Is that Lambo guy still around? He was pretty good.

Lambo (kicker), Bertolet (kickoffs), and Kaser (punter) are all juniors this coming season.
LaCamera would redshirt next season and likely be both the placekicker and punter in 2016 as a redshirt freshman.
At 6'4 225, he's bigger than Kaser (6'3 210) and MUCH bigger than either Bertolet (5'9 180) or Lambo (6'1 210)

You don't even know what you'll get year to year with the same kickers. Hocker had a bad 2012 and got drafted. Blair Walsh was a mess his senior season and then had probably the best NFL rookie season for a kicker ever.

Certainly not good by Hocker standards but not terrible. He was just another victim of the JLS clusterfrick. He got his shite back together in 2013.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the state of Texas for our Sophomore kicker Elliot Fry. The kid is golden. All-SEC Freshman who has really endeared himself to Gamecock fans. Good background story too.
