Funny, I was trying to explain that first goal by Portugal to a friend of mine - the US defender miskicking it and passing it straight to the Portuguese player. The only example I could think to use was the auburn/UGA miracle tip play.

Portugal is lead by the greatest player in the world. The USA started celebrating a second too soon. We should have stopped both plays, but we did not. Luck had nothing to do with it.
